George Aguer Deng “I have recently returned from a trip back to Aweil, South Sudan. The current situation for the orphans there is appalling. There is no proper school, or health care or accommodation”. At the moment the Association has three projects it’s would like to undertake.
- High School
- Community Health Centre
- Orphanages

In February 2010, George Aguer Deng returned to South Sudan and hosted a general meeting, in Aweil, Northern Bahr el-Ghazal State with local chiefs, widows, guardians and war-orphaned children at Marial-baai on 8 May 2010 to discuss their needs and concerns. The current situation is appalling there are no proper schools or health centres operating. Necessities such as access to clean water and food are severely limited.
The reason for the meeting:
Q: "I would like to know from both chiefs and caretakers, to tell me where these children sleep and
who are responsible for them?"
A: "No one is responsible for them."
We hope for Carelinks South Sudan to be responsible for these children.
